Women's Press

work in progress

Journal "Mujer", nº 2, Madrid, 1931

This project is being developed as part of the MC2L (Médias et Cultures en 2 Langues) Master's seminar at the University of Paris 8, starting in the 2023-2024 academic year.

The aim is to showcase a selection of women's magazines published in Spain between 1850 and 1936, a period in which women's emancipation movements emerged strongly and spread through numerous publications.

The articles published are taken from women's magazines representing a variety of ideological tendencies. They can be consulted through textual transcription and facsimile, when available.
